AW and LouiseThe Buie’s are the Visionaries and Founders of Together We Stand, inspired in 2001 after the 911 terrorist attacks on our country. The Buie’s love for God and compassion for hurting people made it easy for the Fairbanks Community to embrace and support Together We Stand efforts.

Anthony is an Ordained Minister of the Gospel and a retired Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Buie retired after 20 years working as a Radio Account Executive in Advertisement. Louise retired as a Sales Manager and Advertising Director with more than 20 years in the Newspaper and Digital Advertising industry. The Buie’s reside in Louisville, Kentucky and today are Real Estate Entrepreneurs and dedicated fulltime to Together We Stand support efforts.

Curtis partnered with the Buie’s in 2008, after meeting and hearing about the Together We Stand vision and seeing the compassion the Buie’s had for helping hurt people in the Fairbanks community. CaLisha a supportive wife and supporter of Together We Stand volunteered to serve as Secretary in 2013, adding her extensive Administrative background to support the organization.”

Curtis is an Ordained Elder and 20 years Retired Army Veteran who served during Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom. Curtis holds a BAS Degree in Management and is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry. CaLisha is an Ordained Evangelist and published author who holds a BAS Degree in Business Management and is currently pursuing a BAS Degree in Christian Ministry. Today the White’s reside in San Antonio, Texas where they Pastor “Living Upon The Rock Church.”


Sheilah Belle a.k.a The Belle, Director of Marketing & Promotion
Sheilah joined the Together We Stand Team in 2011 after seeing the Fairbanks community come together during the “2010 Together We Stand Alaska Project” which she hosted as an honorary guest. Sheilah’s networking reach within the gospel industry contributed to the Together We Stand single “Make Me New,” being featured on the 2012 WOW Gospel CD.”

Sheilah is a Minister of the Gospel, and promoter for one of the largest Outdoor Concerts on the East Coast. She was inducted into the Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 2005, and has been honored by the Gospel Music Workshop of America Gospel Announcers Guild, with the Print Media Award for 2007. She has worked as a News Reporter for various new outlets like BET, WWL TV 4 in New Orleans, WRIC-TV, Richmond, VA, The Light and the Sheraton Broadcasting Network, Health Producer, and for the ABC Richmond, VA TV affiliate. Sheilah resides in Richmond, Virginia and currently produces and anchors the syndicated radio news show, The Belle Report Entertainment News Update, now airing in 57 markets across the country, you can hear Sheilah Monday through Friday @ Radio One’s Praise 104.7 FM, Richmond.
